A new documentary has appeared on Netflix. Its called Audrie and Daisy. It showcases 2 girls journey through their life after they were sexually assaulted.

The first story is about Audrie Potts. in 2013 Audrie was at a party, got very intoxicated and was sexually assaulted by a group of guys from her school. After waking up with no memory of the night before, Audrie tries to contact the boys via Facebook. A bunch of pictures get released from that night and Audrie who was worried about how people would see her and worried that her reputation was ruined took her own life. The boys involved were convicted of sexual assault and 2 of them served 30 days in prison.

The second story focuses on Daisy Coleman. Now her story is  a little more well known. All of North America tuned in to here about the Maryville, Tennessee sexual assault trials. Hacker group Anonymous even got involved by calling out the boys. Not only did the boys in this case get away with the sexual assault against Daisy. The whole town also turned on her. Burned her house down, Vandalized her other property. It got to the point she and her family had to move.

This documentary will change how you look at sexual assault forever. Its brutally honest and even show cases the bias the police can have against the girls making the sexual assault claim. Its a need to watch!

My review is a 8 out of 10!
